Infinity Property Fund Builds Up Team
Tuesday, 29 April 2008

Infinity Asset Management, the Manchester based private equity house, is set to cement its place in the UK property sector with the appointment of two industry specialists.

Jeremy Pollitt and Tim McCormac will join Les Lang, one of the region’s most pioneering property specialists, to build the company’s £10,000,000 property fund, which launched in January 2008.

The duo will bring a wealth of experience to the multi-million pound venture. Pollitt, 46, from Hale, has extensive knowledge of the residential property sector. He was formerly land director at Crosby Homes and Bellway Homes, before becoming managing director of Hillcrest Homes in 1999.

34-year-old McCormac, who lives in Sale, worked at MPM Adams for five years before joining Countryside Properties. It was here that he worked on a number of inner city projects such as the £120m Mann Island development in Liverpool.

Pollitt and McCormac will be responsible for sourcing investment opportunities, assessing potential projects and managing developments for the property fund, which will target £100,000,000 of residential and commercial developments with values of between £5,000,000 and £25,000,000. They will work closely with Lang, former managing director and founder of multi award winning residential development company Abito, a subsidiary of commercial property specialist Ask Developments.

He said: “Jeremy and Tim have built up extensive knowledge and experience in the property industry, both in the North West of England and across the UK.

“Their proven track record in sourcing, assessing and capitalising on development opportunities will place us in a strong position as we look to develop innovative projects with a particular emphasis on sustainability and outstanding quality design.”

Pollitt added: “I’m really relishing the opportunity to get involved with interesting development opportunities, both in the residential and commercial property sectors. I’m particularly excited about working alongside as dynamic a figure as Les, who has already made a unique mark on urban design.”
